Kimberworth Park Community Partnership
Up Coming Events at the Chislett

Kimberworth Park Community Partnership is sponsoring a Community Defibrillator
which is now active and is sited up the side of Domino Court, (a slip road which takes
you to KPCP’s Chislett Centre). The defibrillator was kindly donated by Friends of
Barkers Park, RMBC and KPCP have contributed to its installation, and the Partnership
will continue to ensure its maintenance.
A defibrillator (AED) is a life saving device that can give your heart an electric shock
when it has stopped in a Cardiac arrest. It can be used on adults and children over one
year old. Using an AED in the crucial minutes before an ambulance arrives can increase
someone’s chance of survival.
Anyone can use an AED, you don’t need to be worried about getting it wrong or causing
harm because the machine monitors the person’s heart rhythm, then visual or voice prompts
guide you through each step.
